Fourteen Foot Shoal Light metal print by Keith Stokes.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description

Fourteen Foot Shoal Light (1930) was one of the first automated lights and was operated by radio control from Poe Light. It is located near the mouth of the Cheboygan River in Lake Huron and can be seen in the distance from that location.

This photograph was taken during a lighthouse tour with Shepplers Ferry service out of Mackinaw City. It was taken with a Canon PowerShot S3 IS set to f/3.5 and shutter speed 1/1,600 second.
