Sunflowers simply shout out, “Happy!” And row after row of them compounds the sense of joy and exuberance. What a view!

Artist's Description

Kansas is the Sunflower State and Goodland is at the center of the Kansas sunflower industry. There is even a giant reproduction Monet painting in Goodland as part of the "Big Easel Project." The field of sunflowers was at the west side of Goodland and the sunflower heads were already heavy enough that they barely held the flowers up when this photo was taken in AUgust of 2005.
