There are two sets of waterfalls on the Tahquamenon River, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The lower falls has a much shorter drop, but are still beautiful, Tahquamenon River has an island at this point and there are parallel falls. This one is the north lower falls. Tahquamenon Falls State Park,

Tahquamenon Falls are always beautiful, but they were spectacular with the fall colors, when this photo was taken in October 2008 with a Canon PowerShot S5 IS set with the lens at F/4, shutter speed 1/250 second and ISO-80.
