An aerial photo of Mackinaw City, Michigan, taken by Lester Stokes in the early 1950s. Mackinaw City is at the northern most tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. The body of the water is the Straits of Mackinac, where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron meet.
Interesting old buildings in this photo include Fort Michilimackinac, Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, Ames Memorial Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, and St Anthony's Catholic Church.
