Artist's Description

The 1924 Meridian Bridge at Yankton, South Dakota is a double deck bridge, where the top level once carried traffic into South Dakota from Nebraska, and the lower level carried traffic into Nebraska from South Dakota. Today the 3,013' bridge carries only pedestrians and bicycles over the Missouri River.
