The Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw (WLBB 30) is the largest CG vessel on the Great Lakes. Based in Cheboygan, Michigan, the Mackinaw was built in Marinette Marine's Wisconsin shipyard and "splash" launched on April 2, 2005. This photo was captured with a Nikon E8700 at f/5.6, with an exposure of 1/391 second and ISO-50. Taken from across the river in Menominee, Michigan.

The boat was being launched from a shipyard in WIsconsin and I was standing in Michigan, across the river, taking the photo. It is based in Cheboygan, Michigan.
