Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Design Details

This ice windrow formed near the south shore of the Straits of Mackinac in the winter of 2010. The piles of ice are up to about 15' high.

No, it was piled up by the wind. When I was growing up, one year there were fairly long caves in this ice.

Very interesting. I did not realize that there would be that much ice in the Straits. Would the windrow of ice have been created by a ship plowing through the ice?

Artist's Description

This ice windrow formed near the south shore of the Straits of Mackinac in the winter of 2010. The piles of ice are up to about 15' high.

The bridge in the background is the 5 mile long Mackinac Bridge - the longest suspension bridge in the Americas. It links Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Lower Peninsula.

This photograph was taken on February 6, 2010 using a Canon PowerSho SX20 IS with f/4, 1/1250 second and ISO-80.
