Pere Lachaise Cemetery (Cimetiere du Pere-Lachaise) was founded by Napoleon 1804 and has become one of the most famous cemeteries in the world. Hundreds of thousands of visitors annually visit the graves of hundreds of artists, scientists, actors, musicians, authors, actors, politicians and architects.
The most visited grave in Pere Lachaise Cemetery is that of James Douglas Morrison of the Doors. Jim was a singer, songwriter, poet, writer & filmmaker.
This photograph was taken with Canon PowerShot SX20 IS with the lens set at F/2.8, shutter speed 1/80 second and ISO-100.
