McGulpin Point Lighthouse (1869) is located on a bluff overlooking the Straits of Mackinac, 2 miles west of Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse near the Mackinaw City, Michigan village limit. McGulpin Point Lighthouse was deactivated in 1906. Until recently the lighthouse was a private residence and the property was not open to the public.
Keith Stokes usually has a camera in his hand - photographing Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island in northern Michigan for MightyMac.org, Kansas & Kansas City for KansasTravel.org and science fiction conventions for MidAmericon.org. His photos appear regularly in Locus Magazine, the Food Channel Magazine and other publications and books. His photograph of Pillsbury Crossing was the cover of a recent K-Stater Magazine.

This is lovely, Keith. I tried to get a good photo of this building in summer and I didn't think to move back this far. Nice shot.
