Description
These are some of the largest waves that I have seen on the Straits of Mackinac. It was windy enough that the power was out in Mackinaw City when these photos of the Mackinac Bridge were taken. That is the edge of Old Mackinac Point LIghthouse in the foregorund.
This photo was taken September 7, 2007 - which happened to be my parents 70th wedding anniversary. It was taken with a Canon PowerShot S3 set at f/3.5 and shutter speed of 1/400 second.
